Benefits of Clear Braces
Wearing Invisalign means that you can straighten crowded, crooked, or gapped teeth in about a year to year and a half. Their unique design makes them essentially invisible when you’re wearing them. In fact, most people will never even realize that you have Invisalign braces unless you tell them so.
You can also remove them to:
- Eat whatever you want
- Easily brush and floss your teeth
- Avoid “adjustment” appointments
- Eliminate irritating brackets or wires
What to Expect
After your initial consultation, Dr. Murphy will let you know whether or not Invisalign is appropriate for your smile. If it it is, we will have Invisalign create a series of aligners that gradually move your teeth without the need for frequent trips to our office. Instead, you wear your aligners for about 20-22 hours a day, changing them out every two weeks. Once the two weeks have passed, you move on to the next set of aligners. Dr. Murphy typically sends several aligners home with you at a time, so that you only need to see us every 6 to 8 weeks to pick up your newer sets.

Don’t let gum disease (periodontitis) get you down. We provide non-surgical therapy options to help you retain your natural teeth for as long as possible.
